Reprinted for the first time in over twenty years, The Case of the Careless Kitten is one of the most highly praised cases in the iconic Perry Mason series, which need not be read in any particular order"-- Back cover. Gardner has a way of moving the story forward that is almost a lost art: great stretches of dialogue alternate with lively chunks of exposition, and the two work together perfectly, without sacrificing momentum. This presents a highly complex puzzle even for the brilliant mind of Perry Mason, as always assisted by Della Street, and private detective Paul Drake. Looking forward to your thoughts and recommendations! However, Matilda refuses to let Gerald, a lawyer, probate Richard's will.

Manufacturers, suppliers and others provide what you see here, and we have not verified it. Although it does help if you have a basic understanding of cat behaviour! Lucky that Helen took her uncle's advice and contacted Perry Mason--he immediately takes her as a client. However, nobody can deny that Mason is successful. Perry Mason finds himself trying to solve a murder involving the dysfunctional Shore family. One of the best of the Perry Mason tales.

Perry goes with her to meet him but they find another man - dead. Besides full-length mystery novels, Gardner also wrote short stories as well as non-fiction, particularly travel writings, including on his trips to Baja and Mexico. She receives a call one night from a man claiming to be Matilda's husband, who has been missing for 10 years. Her kitten has just survived a poisoning attempt, as has her aunt Matilda, the woman who always maintained that Franklin was alive in spite of his disappearance. Reprinted for the first time in over twenty years, The Case of the Careless Kitten is one of the most highly praised cases in the iconic Perry Mason series, which need not be read in any particular order. It has a continuing cast of characters including Della Street, Mason's secretary and great love, Paul Drake, who handles investigations, Hamilton Burger, the frustrated District Attorney who never seems to win a Perry Mason case, and the detective, Lieutenant Arthur Tragg who is always one step behind Mason in figuring out what really happened.

The case of the careless kitten book

Highly recommended. The Case of the Careless Kitten represents Gardner at the top of his form. He even gave defense lawyers a good name to Franklin's brother, Gerald, and niece, Helen Kendall, both stand to inherit sizable amounts from the estate as does Matilda.

Risking disbarment for his unorthodox methods, he endeavors to outwit the police and solve the puzzle himself, enlisting the help of his secretary Della Street, his private eye Paul Drake, and the unlikely but invaluable aid of a careless but very clever kitten in the process.
